At Celestial, the decision on test automation is formed by the QA team after careful analysis of customer’s requirements and risks involved. We decide on frameworks and automation tools in the initial planning phase of a project. This is because testing tools might not always be a feasible solution. Some applications may require partial automation.
Agile methodology enables testers and developers to brainstorm with the client. Celestial follows the SCRUM process as a default. Every sprint inside the SCRUM may be a two-week iterative cycle. Defects generated by the automated tools are reported and rectified within the iteration itself.
Different tools are utilized in different stages of iteration based on the need. Celestial does not limit the number of tools. Our testers are also capable of writing test scripts, just in case tools aren't available in the market. This is the key to our success in automation.
